August 7th, 2010 I wrote on my blog about a dog named Jake and he was looking for home.  See post:  www.leashout.com/community/jake-is-looking-for-a-home/.  Since this post a family has adopted Jake.  Jake has been part of a new home for the last 2 1/2 months.  Jake was introduced to a dog named Bailey who was already part of their family.  The new parents were hoping by introducing Jake to Bailey that Bailey would have a friend to play with.  Well that story line didn’t work out.  Bailey isn’t enjoying having a new member in the family, and unfortunately they have to give up Jake up for adoption.  Jake is now 10 months and he is a wonderful dog.  We would hate to see Jake end up in another home and be given up again, so if you are serious about adopting Jake, please connect with me through my “Contact” page.   We would all love to see Jake find a home.

Is Jake a Puggle? How high is his energy level?

  • sandroOctober 14, 2010 - 11:45 am

Yes Jake is half Pug and half Jack Russell. He looks more like a pug though. He has a high energy level, but he is only 10 months, so I don’t think its anything out of the ordinary.

I recently took the second set of pictures of Diego the puppy boxer.  Oh my he is huge!  I could not believe the growth spurt from the last time I saw him.  O boy he’s a stud!  Diego is currently enrolled in my puppy package.  If you are from the Greater Toronto Area, Halton & Peel, take advantage of my “Puppy Package“.  Sneak peak below of Diego’s shoot.  Take care all!

Despite the rainy gloomy weather, the Critters Gone Country even was a great success!  There were so many cute dogs and their caring parents.  It’s so nice to see people who love their dogs unconditionally and you can just see they are part of the family.  Way to go everyone!  Having said that, there are still so many amazing dogs up for adoption, so please if your considering getting a new family member, reach out to these organizations such as Oakville & Milton Humane Society.  Zaira my furry daughter was a rescue and not one moment goes by that I don’t regret adopting her.  I love her!  My dogs are the sole reason why I am doing pet photography.  I never want to miss any memory by capturing it on camera and I want to do the same for all the doggy and cat parents.

I want to also thank my awesome volunteers for all their hard work and dedication.  Sandra, Sonia, Richard, Lesley, Marley and Maia, you guys rocked!  Thank you thank you thank you!

I will be adding the pictures from the event on my ‘Events’ page shortly.  In the meantime, see below picture of the great team I worked with yesterday!

Indeed – a great event. It was lovely to meet you all – a cold day but lots of warm friendly people! And of course – pups to cuddle! Your work is wonderful – you are a great inspiration!
