This past Sunday Zaira was reunited with all her siblings. Many of my readers already know my Zaira because I talk about her all the time! 🙂 Well she has two bigger brothers named Journey and Rohan. She sees Journey a lot because my friends who adopted him live two doors down. Sometimes I can’t find Zaira if I’m outside shoveling snow and I know I will always find her sitting at Journey’s porch staring at the door hoping it opens up. OR, I find myself many times about to go out and Journey is on my porch waiting for Zaira, haha. Zaira doesn’t see Rohan all that much, so it was definitely a special day at the dog park. As soon as Zaira arrived Rohan recognized her and they were back to their old ways! Soon came Journey and the family was all together. 🙂 I was so happy to see how much they just love life and they appreciate every moment, we can learn from dogs. Of course this was an occasion for me to take my camera and shoot some photos of our little doggies! 🙂 I attached the photos of Rohan, Journey, Zaira and some other doggy friends they met.  If you would like to see the rest of the photos please visit our Facebook Fan Page and become a fan of Leash Out.

January 28th, 2011 I lost my boy Loco.  What started as a normal Friday it became one of the worst days of my life next to losing Bailey (Loco’s brother) last August.  Loco was as chipper as usual, enjoyed his morning breakfast and went on to do what he normally does, hang out with my wife in her office.  About an hour later he stood up and collapsed.  I immediately rushed Loco to the vet not knowing what to expect.  Next thing you know everything just started to whirlwind and it came to us out of no where.  I found myself rushing to get x-rays and then to emergency for ultrasounds.  By this point my wife Sandra joined me and it was freaky how all this was happening, it was such a shock to us when we found out that he had a tumor in his spleen.  The vet explained that the prognosis was not good.  I found myself having to make the hardest decision I have ever had to make, to put my boy to rest.  Needless to say Sandra and I were in a state of shock.  I haven’t been able to write about Loco until today, thus my absence in blogging lately.  Loco was a wonderful boy.  He was protective, he had lots of personality, every time he entered a room he had so much life that it reminded me of Kramer on Seinfeld making a grand entrance.

“My boy, I hope you are proud of your dad and I hope we did everything we could for you.  We miss you so much and we were blessed to have you and your brother Bailey’s loyalty for 14 years.  Please watch over each other in Heaven.  We miss you so much!”

To all my readers, please never forget to say goodbye to your loyal furry family members every night, we never know what is going to happen.  🙁  Please enjoy the pictures below of some of our precious moments with Loco.  Click the first picture to view it in a slide show mode.  Thank you for all your kind words and support!

I miss my little buddy so much. It’s hard to believe he’s not with us anymore. I thought we had at least another year or so with him. He seemed so healthy on the outside, I just wish we knew what was happening on the inside so we could extend his life and comfort.

He was my best friend, cuddly friend and business partner. He knew how to make me laugh with his Kramer antics and the way he would socialize with Bailey, Zaira and Journey. Best of all he taught me so many lessons in life and always taught me how to fully express your enthusiasm for walks and drives!

Loco, I hope you know Mommy misses you like crazy. I know you are up in doggy heaven with Bailey, Betty, Pantera and all of my friend’s dogs, please be nice to them, protect them and when you snuggle next to them, like you used to snuggle with me, think of me. I miss seeing your face and spending time with you. There is no dog that could ever take you place.

    Mommy loves you.

This week I had a photo shoot with two cats named Georgia and Ebony.  It was so much fun.  Georgia was a diva and Ebony was playing hard to get!  🙂  Such demanding models, hehe.  If you have a cat and would love to do a photo shoot please contact me for a in-home consultation.  At the appointment I will bring a few of our amazing products for you to see the art behind the picture.  🙂  Please contact us at sandro@leashout.com.

Below are a few photos of Georgia and Ebony, enjoy! 🙂

July 1, 2010, Canada Day, I went to Andrew Scenic Acres with my wife, sister-in-law, her husband, my niece and two nephews.  We enjoyed the day picking fresh strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.  We visited their Farm Market which offers a number of fresh jams, salad dressings, fruits, vegetables and much more.  There is a children’s area with slides, swings and also a hayride for the kids.  There is also a picnic area where you can enjoy the natural setting and weather.  It really is a fun day for you and your family.  On top of it all there are animals there, which of course makes me excited.  I took a few photos for your enjoyment and I hope it makes you feel sunny and warm during this cold winter weather!  🙂
