September 2010 I attended a workshop in Seattle held by Jamie, the owner of Cowbelly Pet Photography. She rocks and she is one of the greatest pet photographers ever.  On the last day of the workshop we got the opportunity to photograph dogs.  This was definitely the most fun day!   3 of the dogs that came to the park were pugs named Enzo, Poppy and Diza.  I love pugs and they are the most fun to photograph.  They have those big eyes, little curly tails and of course they are full of personality!  🙂  I attached a few pictures below of that day!  I hope you enjoy them.  I know I had a lot of fun taking the pictures!  🙂  If you are in the Toronto area and own a quirky, cute, cuddly pug.  Please book your session today!

First off I would like to start off by saying I have had a busy holiday, I haven’t written a blog in quite a while.  I took some time off to enjoy the holidays, be with my family, read Cesar’s Way and much more.  I had 21 family members over our place for Christmas Eve, my dog Loco had major surgery and of course the holiday rush.  I’m glad to be back on my blog and most excited to start off the New Year taking photos of your loyal doggies and kitties.  I hope everyone had a great and safe Holiday and most important that your furry family members got all the treats they could consume in one sitting.  🙂  Talk to everyone soon in the meantime enjoy a few pictures of Loco and Zaira enjoying the snow in our backyard.  🙂

I just wanted to thank everyone who voted for me, I really appreciate it.  Unfortunately I did not win The Toronto Pet Daily Reader’s Choice “Best Of 2010″ award in the category for Best Pet Photographer.  I was definitely in a category with super talented photographers, that in itself is an honour.  It was a pleasure being nominated!  Maybe next year.  😉

I took a well deserved weekend away with my family and neighbours to the beautiful city of Montreal.  We had so much fun.  There was definitely more snow there then there is in Toronto.  I am excited though to be home because I’m hoping the snow comes this way as I have a few clients to call back this week.  I can’t wait to take pet photos in the snow!  This morning I woke up to a white winter!  wooohooooo.  I will let everyone know how the shoots go.

Don’t forget that there are only 3 days left to VOTE for Leash Out.  I have been nominated for The Toronto Pet Daily Reader’s Choice “Best Of 2010″ Awards in the category for Best Pet Photographer. Please VOTE for me, Leash Out Pet Photography. Please share this with all your friends. Thank you in advance and very much appreciated.
