I had the honour of photographing such a precious Siamese cat named Macintosh from the pretty town of Dundas. You would never guess this if you met him, but Macintosh is 19 years old. Sometimes you just have to be at the right place at the right time. I was already feeling great, I was photographing Mikie and I was in heaven. Then I was asked if I had the time to take on another client who had a horse named Tucker. HECK there was no way I was going to say ‘no’! Well, let’s just say it ended up being a shot of a lifetime. Not only was at the right place at the right time once, but twice. Tucker decided to buck and of course I missed it the first time, but I knew he might have another one in him, so I waited patiently, and boom there it is, he bucked again and my trigger was ready. I was so ecstatic to capture such a majestic moment. I will never forget this day for the rest of my life! I had the pleasure of photographing my first Shiloh Shepherd and let me tell ya, Leeroy is a big boy, handsome boy, and most important a well mannered boy! Also, I witness over and over again the bond of an animal with his human parents, and the relationship of Leeroy and his humans did not get unnoticed by me. Last week I had the pleasure of living a dream for a brief moment, hanging out on a huge piece of land surrounded by horses! This one of the big pluses of why I LOVE what I do, even though I don’t own acres, I get to experience it through my clients. Part of my portfolio as a Milton horse photographer, it can keep you busy, there are so many farms around here, it is a dream! I had such an amazing time hanging out at Stonehil and photographing this beautiful horse named, Mikie! Mikie is such a beautiful species and he made it so much fun for me!
