burlington dog photographer | Sweet Miss Tilly!

I had the honour of celebrating Miss Tilly with a photo shoot.  She was an absolute pleasure to photograph and her bond with her family is unbreakable.  Tilly has been diagnosed with cancer.  I will not be mentioning how low they have given Tilly on Earth.  She is here now and that is all that matters.  I know how hard this is for her family and I know the feeling they have in the pit of their stomach.  It is hard to know you will be losing your best friend and loyal companion.  It is easier said then done, but do not think of the future, think of the present.  She is here now, enjoy every second with her.  This goes for all doggy parents.  Whether your furkid has that stupid disease or they are healthy, please take a timeout from life being so busy.  Remember to always hug your family member, take them for walks, enjoy cuddles, play their favourite game.  Take it all in.

Tilly was as happy as ever.  You know dogs!   They don’t care if they have something going on, they live by the moment.  She was speedy, interactive, friendly and such a sweet soul.  One of the softest eyes I have ever photographed.  The love between her and her family made me melt.  I’m super honoured, I can’t say that enough.  You chose me to pay tribute to Tilly with a photo shoot.  Thank you so much for the trust you have in me.  I hope I did Tilly justice with the shoot.  Thank you for allowing her into my life for the brief moment.  I will always remember Miss Tilly and she is permanently engraved in my heart.   My love and hugs goes to you Tilly and your family.  Enjoy a preview of Miss Tilly’s photo shoot.

oakville dog photographer | Mason your so fine!

Meet Mason from oakville, ontario!  I had the pleasure of photographing sweet little Mason last week.  I have been so anxious to post a sneak peek of this cutie pie’s photos.  One of the first steps I do when meeting a new client is, I ask them questions about their dog.  This is so important in preparing me for the shoot and it ensures I set the dog up for success.  It also prepares me to know the dog’s boundaries and comfort level with strangers.  One of the answers I received from Mason’s mom was, he will probably not come to me, he is a shy, and protective of his momma.  Well the first shot was to capture him in action, running towards me.  We had a strategy all set up on how we would make this work, but before we can even implement it, boom, here comes Mason racing towards the camera.  I was even caught off guard, but the result was fantastic.  You will see this particular photo, second one from the top.  I had such a great time photographing Mason.  His sweet, reserved and happy face made my night.  Thank you Mason for being a rock star.  Check out some of Mason’s photos below, enjoy.

toronto dog photographer | Mighty Nacho!

I love photographing big city dogs and having clientele from the great city of Toronto is fantastic.  As a toronto dog photographer it has granted me with so many memories and amazing opportunities.  My shoot at High Park with Nacho is one of those opportunities I will never forget.  I know, I said “big” city dogs, but even though Nacho is just a wee little guy, his heart and might is as big as the CN Tower.  It was so much fun watching Nacho chase a stick, squirrels and Canadian Geese.  Except, with the Canadian Geese, he changed his mind, hehe.  “You can’t bite more then you can chew”, Nacho says!  If you are a dog person, you are most likely trying to guess what kind of breed Nacho is.  I will kill your suspenseful mind.  Nacho is a Maltese and Jack Russell mix.  Isn’t he sooooo cute?  Check out a sneak peek of Nacho’s photo shoot in High Park, Toronto.  Enjoy the mighty Nacho in action.

I’m convinced Nacho has posed for photos.  He was a natural and he had a little swagger going on.

Nacho’s favourite activity by far!  He chased those sticks like it was going to go out of style.  Way to go dude!

orangeville dog photographer | Sykora and Steeler, lovely ladies!

It isn’t often I call myself an orangeville dog photographer and I’m proud of it!  Representing so many city’s dogs in Ontario is an absolute pleasure!  I had the honour of photographing these two wonderful ladies this past week.  Sykora and Steeler from Orangeville stole my heart.  These two sweeties were super well trained and also so much fun!  Sykora is the bigger sister and she is 12 years old.  You would have never thought she was 12 though, she was agile and super fun.  She loved her Frisbee like there is no tomorrow.  For the real hockey friends, yes, Sykora is named after a former New Jersey Devil player.  Of course I knew the name right away, being a crazy hockey fanatic, but I’m more of Leaf fan!  Steeler is the little sis, a young 8 year old girl.  She loved me, but I think it was more my treats she loved, hehe.  Every dog is motivated by something different, and food was her thing.  For the football fans, yes, Steeler is named after the Pittsburgh Steelers.

I’m always extremely appreciative when clients choose me to photograph their furkids, and when they drive in from farther cities, I am really flattered and honoured.  Thank you for choosing me.  Enjoy a sneak peek of Sykora and Steeler doing their thang!
