This past year, I had the honour of photographing many of the dogs at the Oakville Milton Humane Society, for their PetFinder photos.  They melt my heart and I do sometimes have a hard time understanding why they are there.  Having said that, while they shack up at the shelter, they are so well taken care of.  Being a volunteer trainer/walker, I see this first hand.  The volunteers and staff are truly amazing and they love what they do, and this trickles down to how the animals are treated.  Places like this do not run on water alone, they need your support and donations.  If you would like to donate to the Oakville Milton Humane Society, please click HERE!

It has been an amazing year and couldn’t have done  it with out you!  To all my clients, supporters and partners, a heart felt thank you.  I want to also remember and pray for everyone who lost a loved one, dog or human.  I send you my hugs, warm wishes and I am always here for you.

This video tribute doesn’t even do it justice to how amazing the experience it was to meet your families and furkids, it does though reflect how beautiful these faces are and how amazing they are.  I love them for them, nothing less and nothing more.

A few 2014 highlights:

  • Volunteering with amazing folks and volunteers at the Oakville Milton Humane Society
  • Photographing the shelter animals for the 2015  Oakville Milton Humane Society Calendar
  • Photographing the dogs at Oakville Milton Humane Society for adoption photos for PetFinder
  • Nominated for Milton Champion Reader Choice Awards for the second consecutive year
  • Nominated for the fifth consecutive year, for the Toronto Pet Daily Reader’s Choice Awards in the “Best Pet Photography’ Category, and being chosen as your favourite for the second consecutive year
  • Visiting the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada twice for private photo shoots
  • Photographing over 100 animals this year and this includes the precious faces at the Humane Society
  • Leash Out welcoming, any day now, a human baby to the family!

AND….

  • a treasured highlight…………. photographing your dogs, horses, cats and families!  Leash Out is YOU, I couldn’t do this without your support.

Leash Out’s Annual Client Appreciation Holiday Mini Sessions were a blast!  What an amazing turnout, from Toronto, Etobicoke, Burlington, Oakville, Hamilton, Kitchener, Mississauga, Waterdown, Stoney Creek, Milton, and Campbellville.  There were small dogs, big dogs, water dogs, multiple dogs, children and dogs, family and dogs, children and families, the list goes on.  I couldn’t be more blessed to have such wonderful support.

It is approaching 6 years since the inception of Leash Out and there were hard times, struggles and one thing has remained a constant blessing, the dogs, other animals and their families.  Having made the choice to concentrate my efforts on what I’m passionate about and sticking to it, despite many temptations to go where there would be more abundance of clients, like families, weddings and babies, staying true to what I care about has been the best decision that I have ever made.  This has all been worth it and no price could ever replace the memories.  I have shared laughs, smiles, cries and sadness with my clients and these beautiful moments will never be forgotten by me.  I thank you all so much for entrusting me with your furkids and for allowing me into your lives.  Many hugs and I hope we can share many more laughs together!

FINALLY, I get to share Brixton’s photos! 🙂  I had the pleasure of photographing this beauty back in September, but I couldn’t share the photos because it was actually a surprise gift.  Brixton’s human parents were getting married in November, and until that happened, it was hush hush!  Well they are married now and I can finally share Brixton’s photos.  Congratulations on your Wedding Day and I hope you loved Brixton’s canvas!  Enjoy the sneak peek of your girl’s photos!  🙂
