A few more hours, it will be Christmas Eve. A time where we can reflect, gather our thoughts and be reminded of what is important in our lives. I had the honour of photographing Kima, her sister Nymeria and her family last week. Kima is a husky mix and she has been diagnosed with cancer at the young age of 5. It breaks my heart! Situations like this reminds me and it should remind all of us, its not whats important, but it is who is important. Kima was super energetic at her shoot and she enjoyed every minute. She doesn’t know what is happening, all she knows is, I’m having fun with my ball, with the people I love. Another lesson we can learn from dogs, just love life! I’m praying and asking everyone to do the same for this family and Kima. Let’s support them and help Kima kick cancers A$$! Whatever you do or celebrate during the Christmas season, I ask you to not worry about tomorrow, or if dinner is perfect for your guests, just enjoy it, enjoy every minute of every breath we have with the people and furkids we love.
